So, let's get things started. The first person that got themselves into this without really knowing what was going to happen is Cameron Jenkins from EA.

What's your name?
Cameron Jenkins.

How old are you?

26.

Where are you based?

I'm based in Sydney, NSW.

What's the first game (and hence system) you ever played, and how old were you?

The first game I remember playing was Donkey Kong. I would have been about four or five years old and I would wake up at night after my parents and brothers had gone to bed and would play in the dark so I didn't get caught. The worst bit was that I never even got really good at the game.

What's the first game and system you ever owned, and how old were you?

The first game system we had in our house was a ColecoVision. From what I remember it was a cartridge based console and we only had two games for it; Donkey Kong and Pong.

What's your favourite game of all time and why?

Even though it does sound like a plug, I have to say my most loved games are FIFA and NBA Live. I'm not sure when I first played NBA Live, but FIFA 98 was really the first time I tried my hand at any sort of football videogame and this one has just stuck with me till now. I used to think it was brilliant how you could go for these long runs down the wing and score. Trying to do those long runs down the wing is still my strategy today, but I have never been able to replicate any of those magical runs since more recent versions of the game have become so much more in-depth and realistic.

What's your favourite system of all time and why?

My favorite system was definitely my Commodore 64. With loading times of thirty minutes it gave me enough time to get home from school, fire the machine up, go make and have two minute noodles and a milo, and then get into gaming. It was a basic machine and the games weren't too complex, but it was just a great unit to get me through my primary school years.

What current generation systems do you own?

Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PS2 and PSP. I'll be grabbing a PS3 and DS in the near future as well, but I can just jump on one of these two at work if I need to test anything out.

How did you get into the industry?

Hard work and a lot of luck! I finished my Post Grad degree in PR and called around PR agencies in Melbourne to offer my time for work experience. After a string of rejections, one of Melbourne's big PR agencies, Haystac, took me in for a week and then picked me up for a full-time job as a junior. To my excitement I was (continued next page)
