Been using the RC's for a couple of weeks, but yesterday the final version was released.

The speed improvement is nice.. also seems a little more stable? It uses the new faster javascript engine, so should be as fast as chrome now for dynamic apps.

Steals a few features from IE8/Chrome/etc

It's nice to be able to snap off tabs into new browser windows too.

Firefox 3.5 improved speeds by a lot but it's still in third place in javascript benchmarks. First and second place belong to Safari and Chrome respectively, if I remember correctly. Of course, it's a really close third for Firefox and I'm sure the slight drop in speed is forgivable for its added features.

I also hear that FF3.5 is obliterating IE8 in Microsoft's own tests.

I am sure most appreciate that extra 0.2s improvement in a page load ..

To be honest I haven't noticed any difference in speed for Google docs.. that's about the only powerful javascript app I can think of.. haha

I noticed a considerable difference in speed between 3.0 and 3.5, to be honest.
