The PS2 controller became very faulty, my father pulled it apart to have a look but gave it to me after giving up on it, does anyone have advice/links on how to attend to them? The only reason i'm bothering with it is because Platinum controllers are kinda hard to get hold of..

The solution is simple. Buy a normal PS2 controller. Take it apart. Put the guts of it inside your silver case.

Easier solution - Buy a new controller and a can of silver spray paint....

That's a great idea, would you think the inside of an aftermarket wireless PS2 controller is pretty much the same? 'Cuz I could make it a wireless Platinum controller while i'm at it..
