What's even scarier is the fact that I went and rolled Horde as opposed to always being Alliance & named her after me,well my nickname anyway;'thought that a change of scenery would be nice.

Well I'm off & running with my undead mage & having fun being able to do Horde only quests & running around in Horde towns(eg Orgrimmar) for a nice change;only thing is that I've been waiting for the Alliance players to gank the hell out of me like the Horde players always used to do to my Alliance lowbie toons,but so far so good.

Also I've read somewhere that  Alliance will be able to play Shamans and Horde play Paladins in the expansion;I just wonder what made Blizz come up with that idea ?

Well I suppose that the Alliance & the Horde are just as bad as eachother sometimes when it comes to attacking you in groups &  it did get to a point with my alts where I'd leave my main close by to where I was "trying" to level them. 

As much as I like to try & fight back,after a while there's just not much point really,especially when there's a whole bunch of  lv 60's geared out in epics taking out your lowbie in one hit & it's kind of even harder not to avoid asking to get ganked when I have to go afk every five minutes to make sure that my kids don't end up killing one another.

Anyways,after a year of playing a PvP server & somehow managing to get to lv 60 on two characters, I've decided to go back to playing on a normal one for a while with my lv 38 Warrior;that way at least I can sit down in the middle of anywhere to go & sort the kids out & not worry about coming back dead.

Horde are just as bad for ganking in groups, and yes - STV is horrid for gettin ganked by ppl twice your lvl.

Solution = Dont play PvP servers. Theres plenty of pvp content when you want it: AB / AV / WSG - even just /pvp and hope u run into someone your lvl   I played a war up on Bonechewer (pvp server) and ended up deleting him at 48 cos I hated the server so much. Now I just still to my UD Mage and Nelf Rogue on a PvE server.

PvP servers are the best, makes it more of an experience imo

They ruined proper world PvP way back though.

Well in Rendar's & my case we both started off on a PvE server(him ages before me along with his best mate in r/l); then after alot of persuasion in the early days from ppl who play WoW on here,I switched to the PvP server that they were already on.   
Anyways Rendar & his mate soon followed suite,thanks to someone that they both knew at the time who turned into a real tool in r/l over the game and it turns out that this so-called clown now has a toon on the same server as all of us thanks to someone else that they all know for opening his big mouth; so it's sort of become a pasttime of ours to  try and hunt him down in game now to gank the living hell out of him and basically make his life a misery.
As for PvP, well you sort of get used to all of the gankings after a while I suppose and the best part now is that if they insist on ganking our lowbie toons,we'll just get onto our mains and hunt them down to gank them back in return.
Anyways,  Rendar & his mate love PvPing all of the time now,whether it's doing BG's or ganking a poor unsuspecting Hordie who's just standing there minding his own business.

a friend of mine has lent me his alt account for me to play on until i can afford a game card he knows how much i have been wanting to get back into the game and last night he just said "why not"

at the moment im on anvilmar with a new char cause he said i wasnt allowed to go onto his boulderfist char

i plan on playing alliance on anvilmar when i get my account back as all my friends and guild have left boulderfist and wont be coming back until patch or the expansion.

Blackrock is down for 36 hour maintenance and server upgrades, so I've naught to do except homework.

On the upside, maybe Blackrock won't be so sucky anymore

You better hope it's an upgrade and not just retrofitting.

If they're doing the retrofitting then it means they're just getting the hardware ready for an upgrade.  the lag will be worse.  Some people have said their ping has been as high as 20,000 lol.

The guy is in tier 0 gear... he's the biggest noob ever lol. he's got the epic pally mount but you can get that so easily these days, just buy the mats off the AH they're hella cheap.

His gear is what my gear was like about 8 months ago.  If he saw my hunter, and knew that I'm studying arts at monash university, he'd probably jump off a 24 story building saying he wanted to be a hero too.

His guild has 500 people WHAT THE! ZERG GUILD LOLOLOL! complete nub.
