Revenge Of The Sith
5/5 From the opening scene ,this is a fantastic movie. It's just a shame that it's the end of what was a great run for George Lucas.

Terminator 3
Again, cool exploding stuff. Female terminator was a good change. A bit of a dodgy ending, left room for a sequel, I guess.
3/5
i thought the ending to T3 was awesome...the fact that they couldnt stop the war- but the whole objective was for them to survive...

I know...I understand it. I just...wanted something more.....cool, I guess. I didn't want such a, you know, deep ending for an actiony movie.
Some humungous twist. I saw this one coming.

Clerks & Mallrats - 4.5/5 for both.
Directed by Kevin Smith , these two are a part of a series of films inc. Chasing Amy, Dogma and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. Some very funny moments, especially from Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith).

The Warriors - Ultimate Directors Cut :knuppel2:
Saw the movie years ago and loved it, the PS2 game once again peaked my interest and i picked up the directors cut for $19 at Kmart and its still a good un. Come out to playay..... Apparently a remake is coming soon, should be interesting.
5/5
The Longest Yard.
Took me a week to sit down and watch this but well worth it, very funny as Sandler movies generally are. Shudders at the crossdressing inmates.
3.5/5

Get Rich or Die Tryin'
The semi autobiographical movie about 50 Cent, the rapper. I didnt go in expecting much and was actually surprised. The movie is 1/2 decent. Marcus aka 50 Cent is a crap actor, but he has a decent supporting cast including one of my favourite actors Terrence Howard who is slowly making a name for himself. I guess if I paid for it I would've been disappointed :coolsmiley:

The Warriors
I thought Id actually watch the movie before my copy of the game arrives in the mail. For a 26 year old movie the storyline still feels fresh and could easily be re-made now without much change. The lighting effects are pretty good. The cartoony intervals are well drawn and help to further along the story.
4.5/5.0
just finished watching it- were the comic wipes what was added?? It was still ok- not as good as i remembered- Sirus's speech at the start was awesome- but i wish the killer had a better motive than just enjoying it...in fact, the main baddie sucked ass- except his Warriors, come out to play bit- even though it was still over the top- the leader of the Riffs (after Sirus) was awesome- i hope it gets remade- it had alot of style and a killer soundtrack 3.5/5

Be Cool
Despite phone in performances (John Travolta playing John Travolta trying to be cool, Kietel as a hip-hop type music manager (WTF) and Vince Vaughan going way over the top), it got better with the 2nd viewing...still quite disappointing though- but the Rock was pretty funny- with the only real laugh out loud bit being his Bring It On re-inactment

Over the past few days:
Madagascar - I never saw this one in the cinemas and I expected it to be shite but it wasn't too bad and at a few parts it was reasonably amusing. 3.5/5
Mr. & Mrs. Smith - Tsk tsk. Very disappointing. It had a good formula what with the hitmen/women married, not knowing their true careers but it really just turned into a ruddy pointless and buckled action flick from the last half. 2/5
Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Ware-Rabbit - Another Wallace and Gromit tale from claymation studio Aardman. This one is of course feature-film length so the storyline had to be passable throughout in order for it to remain worth watching. Thankfully, it was. Albeit a few cliches and nods to other films like Frankenstein, Warewolf films and King Kong, this new tale is still very much enjoyable, even if a lot of the jokes aren't really laugh out loud. 4/5

the only thing i didnt like about Mr and Mrs Smith was the lame-ass ending...for hitman they were lousy shots...would have been better if they were taken down....

Nah. Don't take them down, because then you'd get the whole soppy dying thing. One of them would survive and the other wouldn't etc. etc. Ugh.
I liked it because it was so tongue in cheek, and the ending worked for me.

yesterday i saw the brothers grimm with heath ledger and matt damon (and peter stormare from prison break [abruzzi] for those of you who know what im talking about i thought it was pretty good - certainly a different take on the fairytale masters thats for sure the acting was only so-so i would say - damn sh!t me most of the time - for some reason they were playing germans with english accents...go figure ha
just got back from watching tim burtons the corpse bride what can i say? i as disappointed - not the nightmare before christmas by a LONG shot its not TOO bad i suppose, but too many musical numbers and it just kind of ends abruptly also, i couldnt really pick johnny depp - if i didnt know it was him i would have thought it was just some no-name actor - they didnt really use his talents to the fullest i thought

House Of Wax. Elisha Cuthbert. Wax. Um, Elisha Cuthbert.
3/5
The Longest Yard. Hopefully this movie will put the whole "Guards Vs. Inmates" storyline to rest. Overall it wasn't a bad movie. Can elaborate, but am far too lazy.

LOTR: Return of the King.
My favourite out of the three. It kinda seems a little bit outdated now, but it's still awesome. Some bits bring a tear to my eye but all of it I'm on the edge of my seat thinking FRIGGIN AWESOME. Oh and the special features are awesome, like watching the 500 man cavalry charge.

Jurassic Park ('twas on TV last night): A brilliant movie and brilliant rendition of Michael Crichton's epic novel of the same name. The special effects and suspense scenes are some of the most notable and coolest ever and will remain that way for quite some time. Great film. 5/5
