I don't know if it's just me or what...but over the past year or two a game doesn't seem to hold my attention too long. The three examples off the top of my head would be Nintendogs, Animal Crossing: Wild World and Mario Kart DS. Three DS games I anticipated for yonks. I also have Fable and Burnout 3 which I bought ages ago and haven't had any desire to play them for extended periods of time.

When I had my N64, I could play one game for months at a time. Now, a week tops. I'm sure it's just me changing as I get older, but it's still annoying to wait for months even years for a game only to play it for a week and have no desire to play it anymore.

Is it just me?

Depends. Some games I play to death and get bored of and never finish - sometimes if I have more than one game then others will be pushed out the way for just that one. But yeah, most games are getting boring.

NEW OR NOTHING.

How old are you Jesusberg?
I find it happens to me with a lot of things as i get older.

A todler can watch the same movie 15 times in a row and still love it (trust me, i have a younger sister)
I too used to be able to play one game for ages, but now cant. It just comes with maturity

I can play a deep RPG for weeks on end until i beat it or get really sick of playing it. I get bored of playing repetitive games easily.

I play pretty much constantly until I either a) get stuck and annoyed or b) finish the game.

Not that finish doesn't mean complete.
