We got great quality 720p HD vids of the trailer in both MOV and WMV formats to download. Hit up the news article to snag em.

There'll be no more information besides what's displayed in the trailer for a while, according to Activision. Thoughts?

i think its a bad move, there is so much more they could have focused on instead of some imaginary modern war with [insert random middle eastern country here], i would have liked to have played CoD as a German, hell i'll even play more missions in normandy like we have seen so many times before, there is alot of stories that still havent been told or given the chance to be protrayed in a video game.

i just dont like the move as it seems a very "EA Games" thing to do, i think that it could really lose alot of people who loved the series as the WW2 Era, i know people who hate WW2 and yet CoD is the only ww2 game that they actually enjoyed playing because of the immersiveness, i dont beleive you could get the same feel, or immersion in a modern combat setting.

even a vietnam setting would be more suited to the CoD series as i just dont think the modern military era has the comradeship that is present in WW2 and vietnam. thats just how i feel about it.

Honestly, the whole thing is just tiresome. I cannot muster the smallest amount of enthusiasm for this title. Or any other WWII, Vietnam, Iraq or Modern or Near Future shooter.

I'm all shot out. If something interesting was done. Perhaps an entire change of setting and some new mechanics, then I might think about it. Like a magic shooting game, where instead of weapons you fire spells. And instead of collecting ammo, you drain the life force of your victims to shoot as magic fire at other enemies, whose BBQd corpse you would then cannibalise to restore health, like finding a chicken under a barrel in Final Fight or Streets of Rage.

I'd play that game. But this...bleah.

I think that is the case with a lot of people.. and why most recent shooters have received below-average reviews. Like Prey I thought was very good, but most people went "meh".

I still like a good shooter though. I don't care if it's still much of a muchness.

RJ: Isn't that the game Blood ? and Undying?
