New idea: Nintendo adds Mario's black rapper friend"50 Coin", to appeal to the African American community, and his primary weapon is the Cracker-Launcher.

Well, lots of cool stuff been happening. Digging the daily updates. I think what'll happen regarding Samus is that when she reaches a certain percentage damage, say, 80%, she loses her suit. I believe that's been alluded to somewhere.

I think it might be a Zelda/Sheik deal, if not two completely seperate characters.

today looks like the best update i've heard.
I'm curious about the Wii-mote on its side though. Very limited controls i'm guessing, and a little bit more advanced for Wii-mote players. Maybe taunts have been dropped. Or maybe 2 buttons together combinations. The wii-motes are missing out on a whole joystick. So double jumping and hitting a normal smash attack could be a bit tricky without the nunchuck. Maybe the 1 and 2 buttons will substitute for A and B on the Wii-mote it'll be interesting.
It's gonna be interesting to see how this plays, but that sets me, I wonder if we can mix it up though. It be kind of weird to have two Wavebirds and then two wii-motes different channels and signals and all.
Very good update today though, the best i've heard.

I'm psyched for the classic controller. As good as the GCN pad is, it just doesn't sit right with me.
As for the Wii remote by it's lonesome, I'm guessing double tapping the button will dash and smash, 2 for normal attacks, 1 for specials and guarding and throwing on the A and B buttons respectively. Jumping is done by pressing up, much like any other fighter.

whoa that's different.
Apparently it's not just day effects on stages but for some there'll be season effects. Be nice playing in Winter or Summer, nice idea, worrks well.

Woo! Ridley's music. It's awesome. Here's hoping Ridley, if not a playable character, is available as a boss fight in adventure mode.

Link's Final Smash update today. And I think the final smash has been explained for good now. Once you grab the ball the moves seems to be done right away. So you should make sure you're in the right position. You don’t have time to ponder such questions, as Link has just grabbed a Smash Ball. Though after reading Mario's it said it's best to use his move in midair. The explosion launches out and expands vertically as it travels, so in order to inflict the most damage possible on enemies, it's best to release this from a slight floating or midair position on either the left or right side of the screen.

No, I don't think it happens instantly, he says that Mario becomes charged up - I imagine the characters simply glow while they have it, and the next special you perform becomes the final smash. Link's looks quite stunning too

I don't like Pikachu. I like the sound of his Final Smash even less. A player controlled flying electric death bomb tackle?
Geez louise, Samus' Final Smash better be pants rockingly good then.

looks like he's on to the final smashes. AWESOME! Hope Kirby's is next.
He's almost done, with most of what we do know isn't he?
Maybe Metaknight and Wario will also be done this week. I reckon Snake will be the last update.
Never seen it before I think, So it was nice to pull that one oiut. And Pikachu's does work out quite well. You can actually control it too.

Metaknight, Wario, Snake, Suitless Samus all need profiles, and final smash information as well as Kirby, Pit and Fox.

Don't you guys find it more fun when you find things out on your own? When I heard there was a 3D Zelda out, I went and bought it because I liked the one I had on NES. That made OOT so much better, because nothing was spoiled for me.

Yeah I do, but it depends on the game. For example, I'll be ignoring all the stuff about Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy, as I ignored Twilight Princess. Smash Bros. is a little different to me because it's a fighter, and most of these characters and stages and items etc. will be available right from the get-go. Some new art of Samus shooting etc. doesn't really bother me, as opposed to finding out story elements or seeing later bosses or whatever in, say, Metroid Prime 3.

You don't Samus/Pikachu/Mario/Fox/Kirby/Link etc. will be available from the start?
I'd guess 25%-30% unlockable.

Not just final smashes, but move sets as well. Like he did for pit. + All the stages & items. They've set this up so they could delay the game a year and be fine

it's nice to know movesets, give you an update on what to expect with each character.
nshady has a point it depends on the game.
Zelda: TP. I didn't look too much at footage. I just sat back and expected something good, and i'm happy with what I saw.
Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy, I haven't really seen any trailers or imagies. Same with FE10, all i've seen is a few previews by G4(Gametrailers) and a Spoiler Intro movie(it's in japanese so it's not a spoiler as so cause I don't what they're saying but body language tells me enough.)
