I took the time out to read the article by david about new racing game modes.

i think he is spot on............

I recon there should be a game made with a mix or Need for speed most wanted, Grand turismo, football management and grand theft auto.

You start off as a street racing punk and have to race or do odd jobs (some sort of mimi games) to earn extra money which you spend on your car for street racing, repairing damage and buying new stuff(NFS & GTA aspect)

when your good enough you then get invited to race circuit races, you get paid and also get a share of the prize money..........you then spend that money on your own street car.........or buy other cars to race on the street earning more money..........

If/ when you raise enough money you can buy your own team and drive for that while employing differnt pit crews ........and racing managers......and working on sponsorship deals........(perhaps if you get caught street racing buy the cops you could have sponsor's pull out of deals)....

With enough money you could afford to buy another car and hire another drive to drive it for you.......(two car team)

you could also buy crash shops, speed shop and a test coarse to adjust the settings on the car...

Sort of build a motor racing empire of such.............anyway they are just my thoughts....................whats yours?

I think this is a little what Test Drive Unlimited was like, but not as extensive.

Bit like GTA for cars?

I like the sponsorship and crew hiring idea: that would add a whole other dimension to the game and something else to strive for. Also having sponsorship would mean you wouldn't have to race the same easy big money track so you can afford something new... or at least not as much.

Yeah pred, I just reviewed TDU for PC. It's like a fun version of Gran Turismo, which isn't fun imo, where you have a whole island to drive around on, go to dealers, races and whatnot and generally do whatever you like. It's a lot of fun but not as extensive as what you're saying thug, like pred said.

Still a great game. I'd be playing it now if I didn't get owned by a game ending bug (back up your saves for this one kids) which screwed my dude so I lost all desire to play.

You know what would make racing games fun?

Turtle shells.
