Any game-to-movie production done right could be f*kin awesome! Halo - Warcraft - Starcraft - Diablo - Metroid etc are all begging for a movie adaptation. Problem is studios don't seem to have any understanding of what gamers what to see, or what will do the game justice - only what will sell. Hopefully the director and/or producer have atleased played one or two of the games.
Good pick for the main character, hopefully he can act.
There was another game-to-movie adaptation in the pipeline I heard, can't remember what it was though.....

It is a little confusing for moody though. This is Sands of Time:  Yet it seems they are basing the characters off of Warrior Within, as you posted. |

I knew which game it was based off. Still doesn't stop me being worried they will take ideas from all the games. As MC said the design is from the warrior within, I will be happy as long as the personality doesn't come from the latest game. |

Hmmmm, I think Prince of Persia was the first game I ever played - my older cousin had the side scrolling one back in like 1991.....ahhh, the memories. Man it's an old game.

They're making Asteroids, there are scripts floating around for Gears of War, Dead Space is getting there apparently, Halo... dunno where that's at. David Hayter is writing an MGS script, that could turn out brilliantly because that guy knows it inside out, being Snake and all.
There's always talk about them, not many have seen the light of day but I think we'll be seeing more and more getting released.

Gears of War could be a pretty badass movie, dunno about Dead Space, the story wasn't exactly epic, and the plot/theme is pretty much just Alien without the chestbursters. I'm not a Halo fan at all, but I liked the story line, and if they sunk millions into some CGI and made MC a real badass it could be pretty nice.
