It apears Mr Atkinson has taken his war on video games to movies as well.

I think that's actually a decent idea - I wouldn't want my kids to even hear the name sasha baron cohen, let alone have to look at him on vid shelves. If the movie's sportin an R+ rating, there really isn't much in the movie you can put on the cover that people under 18 should be seeing.

Totally not true. Hangover on DVD is R. True Blood is R. Both have tons of non-objectionable content that would easily make a fine cover. Again, it's Atkinson's war on adult content. Porn, sure, put it in a black sleeve. But all movies? Come on. It just doesn't even make sense. Fight Club? There are tons of films rated R that for years have been creating artistic covers. Kill Bill? Awesome cover.

You could always have the case look like that on the shelf but then when you take it up to purchase it, you're given the real case.
Don't see why anyone would complain about that system, but I don't think it's up to some douche in parliament to decide. Should be a company thing.

What a fuckwit!
Borat is just lowbrow humour, I can't even really remember anything that justified an R rating in the movie??
Films such as Clockwork Orange are R rated, but are considered classics by most film buffs.

Borat did have the naked wrestling scene including getting a face full of ass crack, I'd put that at least MA.

Cos it's racist as all hell!?
IIRC Jackass is MA, there's nothin in there that's more than an M but the fact kids will try to reproduce it pushes the rating up.

And yeah Borat's main concern would be kids who didn't actually understand all the anti semitic stuff in. And took that seriously.

Well not if there parents told them that it was satire, you know, how parents are meant to do their job by looking after and educating their kids about the difference between right and wrong.
Borat is Jewish anyhow, he is just taking the piss out of his own people, as does John Safran, and no doubt others.

Yeah I know that, and he does it in a way that exposes real hate in other people which is something worth doing. But it's quite possible that younger lads might misconstrue it all, and probably have. Not saying that it needs to be a in a black box though.

Parents have to look after their kids now? They can't just ignore them and then skapegoat movies/games/music/tv when things go wrong, thereby taking no responsibility what so ever? I demand to know when this happened!?!?!?

To be fair, I don't think my parents ever really told me what I could or couldn't watch/play/do/whatever.
Then again, my parents died when I was eight.
