So Triple M is doing a countdown of the 250 best albums ever and they're at around 90 at the moment, it got me thinking, what are my favourite albums of all time?
I thought up a good rule though, you're not allowed albums from your five favourite bands/artists of all time (even if you don't like them much anymore).
My five bands would be Chili Peppers, Ben Harper, Blink 182, Sum 41 and The Butterfly Effect.
That said, my five favourite albums would be:
Coldplay - Viva la Vida
The Used - The Used
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Powderfinger - Odyssey #5
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory

Jet - Get Born
MJ - Bad
If I only removed my 1 fav band:
Queen - A Night at the Opera
Daft Punk - Discovery
The Crystal Method - Legion of Boom
Within Temptation - The Silent Force
Evanescence - Fallen

Wincing the Night Away - The Shins
Recurring Dream - Crowded House (it's a best of, but whatever...)
This last one is hard...
Maybe a cross between:
Yankee Hotel Foxtrot - Wilco
Boxer - The National
Zitilites - Kashmir
So I did seven. And they are mostly my favourite bands but I only did one each, so too bad. Odyssey #5 is sick too, but it's been so long since I've listened to it. Back when Powderfinger were really good. Almost every song on that album is rad.

Another reason not to put your 5 fav.. because theres a 99% chance your 5 fav bands won't be in the top 10 on Triple M. It's like statistics maths where you get rid of the weakest and strongest to make a graph more stable
