Good news and bad news, everyone. The good news is that Batman: Arkham City has got a release date. The bad news is that it's not for over seven months: October 19th, 2011.

Sigh. At least we have three new screenshots to keep us happy in the meantime.

Three weeks to finish it before Skyyyyyyrimmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Got a feeling a lot of big games getting released this Oct/Nov havn't been officially dated yet. Meant to be another Assassins Creed according to my trusty teriyaki sauces.

True, and it will probably grab my dollars as well.

Could be worse. Could be BioShock Infinite's release date. :<

This will be an instant pre-order of the collectors edition for me.

Hope the collectors edition item is a bit better than the scratched up batarang.

Yeah I didn't feel any need to get the collectors of the last one... but it really was an awesome as balls game. And balls are awesome.

They had a vote on the Facebook page about what you'd like the collector's edition to be. I think the majority was for a utility belt, but I voted for a Riddler's trophy. I think having that green question mark on my mantlepiece would be so much more awesome than a sh*tty belt.

Yeah Question mark would be cool. Belt? No use for the damn thing!

Very few collectors editions of anything have anything cool. I like the art books that come with stuff. AC2 Black edition was pretty cool... with the Ezio figure. Bla bla bla.

MW2, I think, had those epic night vision goggles, aka glasses with an LED torch sticky taped to them.

Haha it was an infared torch at least... you couldn't see the light unless you were wearing NV goggles yourself, but they did have a bloody huge ring of red lights around them. Interesting inclusion anyway... cooler idea than most.
