He makes some good points as far as animations go, and the fact that the same geometry is basically replicated at the same angle over and over.

I don't know why people would waste their time like this if it was all 'a scam' as they put it.. How are they ever going to make any money off of this if it doesn't work?

I hope it's true, as the attention to detail would increase soooo much in the next gen of gaming.

Yeah I think calling it a scam is a bit of a strong term. It's obviously viable in some applications but there are hurdles. A few guys have come out and said it would be possible, but not for a few years, and not without development complications, whatever that means.

The guy has come out and replied to the scam allegations and said that it's still a work in progress, which is fair enough. If they come back in a year with a sicko demo and can show off a bit more variety and perhaps some animation, people will take more notice. I think modelling things down to the grains of sand is completely unneccessary, but that only frees up resources for a wider variety of stuff to be displayed.

Looks nice. But im not believing anything until i see proper proof that, that is unlimited detail and not some random program that creates highly detailed graphics
