Anybody got it? I got it smiley
Anybody playing it? I'm playing it smiley
Anybody like it? I'm liking it? smiley

i've only had time to play a couple of hours so far, but it's a very pretty upgrade for d2 - the visuals arent nearly as cartoony as people thought when the preview vids first came out.
I am a barbarian and a demon hunter, and on normal mode both are quite easy (at least in the beginning stages).

Anybody gotten very far?

It's a pretty easy game if you don't rush in to big groups.. same as WoW leveling I guess. I'm a level 21 Wizard..

I've been enjoying my Monk. Hit me up guys, I have no friends. Aimless#1313

Seems way too easy on this first playthrough though, I've died maybe once or twice which was just careless.

Never really been a Diablo guy, but haven't been able to browse any site without hearing about all the errors people are having. Is that more a US issue? Have you encountered any problems?

Australia uses the US servers. You can switch to European or Asian servers too.

Basically, the entire first day, the login servers were screwed, so no one could play on any server. The second and third day most of the servers kept coming down for maintenance or because of the load.

There's still a fair bit of downtime but it seems to be steady now.

My problem is with the Auction house. I'm about level 23 now, and you earn quite a bit of gold just playing through the game normally. I think I've earnt like a little under 200,000. Now, on the auction house, people put lots of neat gear with buyout prices on there. Most of it ranges from expensive... 20,000, to very expensive, 300,000. Quite a lot of really good gear is up for cheap though, with buyouts under 5000.

I spent maybe a total of 40-50,000, and my guy is decked out entirely in really good rare gear. I have something like 400 dexterity (Monk's base stat) on a pretty low level character. I kill everything in the game in either 1 or 2 hits, and boss or hard characters in about 5. That's with base attacks! If I use specials, it's less. If there's a group of like 30 or 40 dudes, I'll kill them all in about 5 seconds flat.

It's just kinda... lame. I would like to play on a harder difficulty, but I don't think I'll be bothered playing through the game again once I've unlocked it.

i am only a level 5 demon hunter with only dropped items, but it does seem kinda easy.
this is on 'normal' difficulty. i might play through in harder modes if the dungeon maps change.
a nice surprise was that the cathedral map changed drastically between my barbarian and my demon hunter, making it much more replayable.

Yeah all the maps are random, but use common elements. If you quit the game when you're in one of the outside areas, it will all be unexplored again, and I'm pretty sure will change too. Some of them anyway.
