So this weekend I'm moving out of the family home I've been housesitting for the past 12 months, back in to the rental market for the next 12 months. Should be an interesting year, new suburb (Heathmont), new, smaller, much easier to clean house. I'm looking forward to there being less dead space and more warmth as this house is dumb to heat up.

The new house is 700 metres from a 40 minute train ride to the city, so it works out well for Julz who now works on Exhibition Street.

I've hired some plastic moving boxes through Ecomove to help with packing everything and so far it's been really useful. Hope it all goes smoothly, there's a couple of big bits of furniture I'm worried about =S

Also next week I'm travelling down to Rhyll on Phillip Island for a couple of nights to get away from the city. Can't wait!

It's not bad if it means no bus or tram changeover. When I worked at  Smith I was doing 10 minute bus, 20 minute train, 25 minute tram... the changeovers were sometimes longer than the bus trip..

The longest train ride you can take in Melb Zone 2 to city would be about 1h10m or so I think.. from like Cranbourne or Pakenham, where the stations just keep going

Seems like a lot of people have been moving lately.. hope it worked out well.

Heathmont is really close to where my Dad lives in Bayswater. Might drop by next time I am in melb!
