E3 2003: No Tunneling For Nintendo
16th May 2003, 12:16pm
Instead, Nintendo and GameSpy are working on "in-game" software for Nintendo's LAN games.
Nintendo stated that they wont be using any Tunneling features as it requires gamers to puchase multiple cables, computers, hubs etc. Instead GameSpy are developing In-Game software for Nintendo games which will allow gamers to simply plug in an internet cord from the Gamecube to their broadband modem and they are online. From there its as simple as selecting the LAN option. Pretty snazzy huh?
