Gran Turismo Sales + GT4 Key Features

Polyphony Digital has announced world wide sales for their highly popular Gran Turismo games.

Gran Turismo (PSone) - 10 millions Gran Turismo 2 (PSone) - 8 millions Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec (PlayStation 2) - 11 millions

Polyphony Digital also announced the key features in Gran Turismo 4:

  • More than 50 race courses

  • Over 500 vehicles

  • Each vehicle is composed with 4000 polygons

  • All the car parts can be upgraded, from tires to gears

  • The replay mode will be greatly enhanced

  • New AI engine for rival cars, to simulate human behaviors in car battles

  • There will be 3 main play modes: Arcade, Simulation and Online
