Microsoft Announce Q3 Results

Microsoft today announced revenues of $8.22 billion for the Q3 ending September 30.

Microsoft today revealed their Quarter 3 2003 results. They have recorded revenues of $8.22 billion, up from last years effort of $7.75 billion. Microsoft also posted a net income of $2.61 billion - up from $2.04 billion last year.

Microsoft expect bigger revenues for Q4 2003 specifically from the Home and Entertainment division, where both the Xbox project and Microsoft Game Studios are located.

However, the news sent shares down due to serious security scares over Microsoft's products over the past months.
