Battlestar Galactica Gone Gold - Xbox, PS2

Vivendi Universal has announced that the movie based space shooter, Battlestar Galactica, has gone gold for the Xbox and Playstation 2. Check out some of the details:
Developed by Warthog Studios in conjunction with Vivendi Universal Games, Battlestar Galactica takes players to the furthest reaches of space in a desperate attempt to stop the evil machinations of the Cylon Imperious Leader. The game's mythic storyline will unfold over a series of Hollywood-style cinematic cut-scenes as well as an in-game story driven missions including search and destroy sorties in the legendary Colonial Viper, bombing runs over an alien water world and an escape from a Cylon stronghold in an enemy Raider. Each ship will feature their own unique flight characteristics, and players will be able to customize their weapons loadouts on the fly to suite their style of play. Additionally, as players successfully complete missions they will be assigned wingmen to aid them in the fight.
