R: Racing Screenshots - Xbox, PS2, Gamecube
28th November 2003, 12:32pm
They may have tossed aside the Ridge Racer name, but never fear - we can rest assured Namco know what they're doing when it comes to racing titles. So what's so special about R: Racing? Well Namco are combining spine-tingling graphics that are nothing short of astonishing, as well as state of the art driving physics and finally, what many racers fail to incorporate - a reason to race (other than just the need for speed). Yes ladies and gentleman, R: Racing will actually have a story behind it, and knowing Namco it's going to be nothing short of amazing and hopefully make the game more engrossing and addictive. It features fourteen tracks from both real and fictitious locations, over 35 vehicles to choose from and some fine looking racers, R: Racing is set to take the gaming world by storm next March (in all PAL territories) on all next-gen consoles. It has all the makings of a revolutionary racer, will it top Project Gotham Racing 2 as one of the best racing games ever? We'll just have to wait and see...
