Warcraft III: Reign Of Chaos : Over 1 Million Copies Sold

Blizzard Entertainment® announced today that WarCraft® III: Reign of ChaosTM has surpassed 1 million units sell-through in Europe, according to EDI sell-through, internal company estimates, and reports from key retail accounts. Released in July 2002, WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos remains at the top of PC charts in most European markets, along with its expansion set WarCraft® III: The Frozen ThroneTM, which was released this summer. These results confirm that WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos stands as a worthy heir to the legendary titles responsible for Blizzard Entertainment's worldwide reputation of talent and creativity.

Since its debut in 1994, the #1-selling Warcraft series has won industry acclaim and has shattered sales records worldwide with over 11 million copies sold*. In 1995, Blizzard followed the well-received Warcraft: Orcs and HumansTM with the highly acclaimed Warcraft II: Tides of DarknessTM, considered by many critics to be one of the best games ever made.
