TOCA Race Driver 2 annouced - PC, Xbox

Codemasters have announced that TOCA Race Driver 2 is in production for both PC and Xbox. They have been able to secure the rights to the TOCA series, which have allowed them to continue a branded game.

The game will include some 15 different racing modes to keep the hardcore car racing fan happy: including GT Sports, Street RAcing, Rally, DTM, V8 supercars, Global GT Lights, Rally Cross, Formula Ford, Open Wheel Grand Prix, Classic car, Super truck, Stockcar, Ice-RAcing, Covertible Racing and general performance.

With that amount of different modes to choose from, a massive variety of different vehicles, and some 48 tracks it should keep many a racing fan ripping up the tarmac with joy.

Good news also for PC and xbox fans is that the game will support online play. Further details can be found at the Codemasters site.

Sounds like an exciting one for driving fans, and could be a contender to knock PGR2 off the Xbox driving mantle
