It appears voice recognition is a big thing these days. With several games taking advantage of voice to a certain extent, and with the impending release of Konami titles featuring voice, EA has signed a voice recognition deal.

Fonix announced that Electronic Arts has licensed Fonix speech solutions for speech recognition within EA game development.
"We expect the inclusion of Fonix voice command solutions will accelerate current and future game development," said Tim K. Hong, vice president of Fonix Mobile Wireless & Games. "Working with EA to deliver the best voice interface to game developers is a tremendous market opportunity to expand use and exposure for our voice command solutions.
Things are heating up in the voice sector. EA has jumped aboard as many developers feature in some type of voice technology. By the looks of things developers must think it is the next big thing.
