E3 2004: Colin McRae Rally 2005 Announced

Set to be revealed at E3 Codemasters have confirmed Colin McRae Rally 2005. To be online on PS2 and xbox live it is set to be launched this spring. The franchise goes forward with massive multi-event challenges and introduces online play with up to 8 players on both PS2 and Xbox. Up to 20 classes of rally events will be available which will include events such as Challenges, Cups, SuperCups, Championships + more. In total over 300 rally stages will be available with a mixture of 4-wheel, 2 wheel drive cars available as well as 4x4 and rear wheel.
New to CMR05 will be a bonnet-cam and a updated chase cam. These changes should be received well be fans of the Colin McRae Series. Damage will be enhanced so treat the car with care, and if you do happen to crash say into a tree, you will see it shudder and drop leaves as you would expect.
