E3 2004: Vivendi Universal Games News

Vivendi have released several factsheets and screens which are contained with the factsheet. Some big games are in line specifically StarCraft: Ghost and World of Warcraft developed by Blizzard Entertainment.
  • StarCraft: Ghost

    • players take part in the struggle for galactic domination as Nova, a deadly Ghost operative in the employ of the Dominion. As she progresses through a series of story-driven missions, Nova is required to engage in a number of dangerous infiltration operations and deadly planetary battles. Players must execute intelligent tactical decisions while mastering an advanced arsenal of sophisticated weaponry and Nova's own psionic abilities.
  • World of Warcraft

    • players assume the roles of legendary Heroes and interact with thousands of other players online as they explore, adventure, and quest across a vast world. Whether journeying together or fighting against each other in epic battles, players will form friendships, forge alliances, and compete with enemies for power and glory.
  • The Bard's Tale

    • the player chooses the Bard's responses towards other characters he encounters with either 'snarky' or 'nice' dialogue. Each choice changes the course of events in the game. The action takes place in medieval times in a land based on the Orkney Islands off the coast of Scotland - the inspiration for many of the classic fantasy stories.
  • Advent Rising

    • Advent Rising is the first in an epic trilogy of action/adventure games, presented in a stunning cinematic format to deliver an unprecedented variety of game play experiences. Built on the Unreal Warfare engine, it offers precise, refined play-dynamics with action-packed adventure and style, wrapped in a visually imaginative universe. Advent is akin to a fast-paced action movie where the player is swept up in a continuously evolving series of sequences and events.
  • Tribes: Vengeance

    • gamers become immersed in a roiling space opera. Throughout the game, the player catches glimpses of the other stories that are unfolding behind-the-scenes and is given the opportunity to experience the full scope of the single-player story through multiple viewpoints and characters.
  • Spyro: A Hero's Tail

    • Spyro must save the Dragon Realms from the Evil Red Dragon who has planted light-sapping Dark Gems all over the Dragon Realms in an attempt to capture and control the world. With the help of his allies, Spyro must seek out and destroy all of the Dark Gems to return the lands back to normal. Are you able to save the day?
  • Van Helsing

    • hunt down and destroy the evil that inhabits these ancient lands before darkness engulfs the world. As players progress through Transylvania and the strongholds of Castle Frankenstein and Castle Dracula, they'll encounter untold fiends and evil minions including the legendary dark prince Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, the Wolf Man and Igor
  • The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay

    • players have one singular goal - escape from the slam by any and all means necessary. As this least likely of heroes, players must draw on their character's brains and brutality to attempt the unthinkable - escape from Butcher Bay. This game is primarily a first person although 3rd person is used for some special moves.
  • Red Ninja: End of Honor

    • Kurenai a young girl who's world is destroyed when she and her father are attacked by the deadly Black Lizard Clan, who captures her and brutally hangs her by a wire and left to die. Miraculously, she survives and is rescued and adopted into a clan where she obtains complete mastery of her unique weapon, the wire. Kurenai has pledged her undying loyalty to her new family. She now lives to avenge her father's death and will go to any means necessary to destroy the Black Lizard Clan.
