FIFA, Xbox & EA Team Up In Football - Xbox

Xbox has been named the official licensed video game console of 2006 FIFA World Cup. Teaming up with EA, Xbox will up to bring the world the newly developed FIFA competition, FIFA Interactive World Cup to football lovers around the world.
To be held in June-July 2006, xbox will work with FIFA in introducing specifically branded retail offers to celebrate the 2006 FIFA World Cup. While we wait a new series of tournaments with on and offline football action featuring EA's FIFA Football 2005 on xbox and xbox live is available. FIFA Interactive World Cup, will travel six continents from October to December this year with the finals being played in Zurich at the FIFA Player of the year gala in December.
Players will compete with EA's FIFA Football 2005 over xbox live in the three month tournament. Players may be able to participate in real-life sessions, between heats, with a host of guest appearences, prizes and musical surprises. Stay tuned for further information regarding this event.
