More has emerged regarding the control set up of the game. Many people gave feedback at E3 regarding the hard-to-balance controls of that particular demo. Now, the bottom screen has changed from being attacking based to just a look screen. Dragging the stylus left looks left, up looks up, and so on. Firing is now done by the L trigger, meaning there is no lock on in the game. The D-Pad moves in and out, and strafes. Morph ball is activated by tapping 'buttons' on the touch screen, and to jump you double tap the screen.

This poses a few problems. Obviously, if you try to rapidly shoot with your left hand, while also holding the system horizontal and then swiping with your right, you're going to have a tough time holding it for long periods. This appears to be a sit-at-table/hold-in-lap-in-car sort of game, rather than a cruise-down-street one. There are various control methods built in, including the crazy E3 version where you tapped the screen to fire. There is also a mode for all you southpaws out there, where the controls are flipped and you use the ABXY buttons to move (explaining the symmetrical set up).

Other features revealed include two screen FMV sequences that demostrate parts of the story from both angles. Wow. It's amazingly well done. Another mode revealed has been a morph ball race, where you and your friends race around a predetermined track.

All in all, the game is looking very exciting, but we'll have to wait until it arrives in Australia to see how it plays.
