Irish Looking At Other Consoles This Christmas

There has been an almost complete sell-out of Playstation 2 consoles in Ireland, with retailers not even expecting more stock before Christmas.

"According to a HMV [an Ireland- and UK-based retailer of electronic entertainment products] spokesman, with the PlayStation consoles out of stock, consumers have turned to rival consoles such as Nintendo's X-Box and the Gamecube," Daniel McConnell of The Irish Times explains.

Um, yeah. He knows his stuff.
