RUMOUR: Suprise Nintendo DS Announcement In March? - NDS

Apparently, Nintendo may be planning an announcement next March around the launch of PSP to damage the impact of the competitor's system. As to what it could be, initial thoughts have been towards a price-drop, or a killer game to attract potential PSP buyers. We'll have to wait and see what happens. Nintendo can't afford to just ignore the PSP and hope it goes away.

It didn't work for the Gamecube.
