Codemasters Picks up Worms 4: Mayhem

Codemasters have announced that it has secured the PAL publishing rights to Worms 4: Mayhem. Developed by Team 17 the Worms is to see their 10th year in action. Mayhem will return to the series trademark gameplay that sees Team 17's core Worms design and development team regrouping for a game of explosive annelid annihilation.

Set to launch on the PS2, Xbox and PC in Q2 2005 it will return to the series roots, where they are back fighting in open arenas. The game will have single player or a 4 player team game, with a large disposal weapons at the worms disposal. Players will be able to create your own weapons using a device called the Weapons Factory. For further information check out the official site www.codemasters.co.uk/worms
