Charity Receives Money from Special Edition Nintendo DSs - DS

UPDATED: Sparkly Blue DS picture addedAt the Sundance Film Festival, Nintendo had 3 special edition Nintendo DS systems up for auction. One was a swirly blue metallic colour, the second a bronze/brown colour, and the other a sparkling green. The buyers were Jay Mohr, Alan Cummings (X-men 2) and Poppy Montgomery. Nintendo donated matched the bids of Montgomery and Cummings, and will donate US$8 000 to the Tsunami Disaster Relief. Jay Mohr bid a staggering US$10 000 for his system, on top of which Nintendo will add another US$5 000. This money will be heading straight to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Total amount donated: US$23 000.
