Castlevania: Curse of Darkness For PS2 - PS2

Konami of Europe has announced that Castlevania: Curse of Darkness is to make its way to the PS2, during spring 2005. In the past Castlevania has dealt with the struggle between Dracula and the Belmont clan, Curse of Darkness is to introduce players to a new storyline and to a new main character.

Hector is the new main character, one of two Devil Forgemasters. The Devil Forgemasters once refined their skills under Dracula. The story will be one of an action tale of betrayal and revenge. Isaac a former friend returns believing Draculas defeat was a result of Hectors betrayal and sets Hector up in a witch trial. Hector sets off on a journey to his former home land to seek revenge and to confront Isaac.

Curse of Darkness will feature more than 30 evolving allies that will develop unique abilities. As play progresses players will gain experience points, with their characters strength increasing, much in the same way the gameplay of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
