MS Reports Record Revenue and Earnings - Xbox

The Home and Entertainment division which houses the Xbox delivered its first profitable quarter in the quarter that seen Microsoft earn revenues of $10.82 billion for the quarter. Increasing Xbox Live subscription to over 1.4 million people, along with 6.3 million copies of Halo 2 being sold, resulting in an attach base of over 30% to the install base of 20 million xbox consoles, helped the Home and Entertainment division get into the black.
