Capcom Brings Us A Legal Battle - DS

Capcom has decided to bring the previously Japan-only Gyakuten Saiban to Western Nintendo DS systems. The game follows a defence attorney who is in charge of several criminals. You have to collect testimonials, evidence and examine crime scenes by using the stylus.

There are two distinct parts of each case. The first part - the Investigation phase – requires you to survey crime scenes, conduct interviews and gather evidence. The second phase - the Court phase – requires you to present your findings to support your case, listen to testimonies, examine witnesses, and draw conclusions to determine who is telling the truth.

There will be several key characters to the story. The protagonist is name Phoenix Wright, and is an accomplished defence lawyer. Maya Fey is an intelligent young girl that is learning to control her psychic abilities. She can be used in interrogations. Mia Fey is Pheonix's mentor - an ace attorney who taught him everything she knows to help him with his cases. Finally, there's Miles Edgeworth - Pheonix’s arch rival - who has always won his cases. He detests criminals, and is willing to do anything to get a guilty verdict. If you've always wanted to play Law and Order on the go, this might be for you.
