V-What? - GBA, DS
11th February 2005, 6:57pm
Nintendo of Japan recently registered the trademark Nintendo V-Pocket. Much speculation has arisen over the name (and logo, which can be seen to the right). Some suggestions have been the media player revealed for the GBA (and therefore NDS), but really no-one has any clue. One clever member of our forums, rob, suggested that the V-Pocket was the GBA of the future - the paired handheld for the Revolution (or N5...NV). What do you think? Tell us in the forums. A separate trademark, PCGP, was registered by Game Freak (of Pokemon fame) but frankly, working out initials just isn't as fun as a full name.
