The Darkness Comes To Next Gen

Majesco has announced that it will publish The Darkness for the next generation in consoles. The Darkness is being developed by Starbreeze(Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay) and is scheduled for release in 2006.

Players will be the fearless Mafia hitman Jackie Estacado for the Franchetti crime family. Suddenly possessed by terrifying powers of The Darkness, players will need to learn how to harness and control these powers in order to overthrow the mob boss.

Featuring seamless and unique blend of modern crime drama and supernatural horror through first and third-person, non-linear gameplay. The Darkness will feature both single and multiplayer action across realistic environments. Expect to hear more at E3.
