Famitsu Score - Nintendogs

Set your faces to stunned. Famitsu has awarded Nintendogs (aka Puppy Times) their highest honour - 10/10/10/10 - for a total of 40 our of 40. It's unbelievable. It becomes one of only five games to be given that mark, and is joining the likes of the two Zeldas - Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker - Soul Calibur and Vagrant Story.

The three versions of the puppy simulation shot up the charts this week. They sold 135 000 copies in three days, beating the previous record of any game sales set by Super Mario 64 DS on the DS. Nintendo will be loving it.

Maybe the Japanese just like cute animals.
