19th May 2005, 10:33pm
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has unveiled four key software titles being developed exclusively for Playstation 3. Titles include Formula One, Heavenly Sword, killzone and MotorStorm.

Formula One
The unprecedented processing power of PLAYSTATION 3 opens up a new world of possibilities for Formula One gaming. Groundbreaking advances in AI and physics calculation will result in the richest and deepest racing experience yet, while the level of detail and the visual quality far exceeds anything seen to date.

Heavenly Sword
The game combines the intense action and visuals of the best martial arts action movies with a ground-breaking, free-style combat system allowing players to freely switch between multiple sword types and a wide range of weapons on-the-fly. With state-of-the-art technology and gameplay, Heavenly Sword takes players on a roller coaster of emotion and action that truly exploits the potential of gaming as the new artistic entertainment medium.

Killzone Playstation 3
A non-linear, intense cinematic gameplay experience that combines elements from multiple gaming genres, Killzone PLAYSTATION 3 thrusts players deeper into the conflict between the ISA and Helghast. Set in a rich and highly interactive gameworld, Killzone PLAYSTATION 3 utilises benchmark facial and character animation, advanced physics, destructible environments, amazing sound and special FX, immersing players in the most intense and warlike gameplay experience to date.

MotorStorm
MotorStorm delivers visceral off-road racing, plunging players into a frenzied environment awash with grit, mud and petrol, in a game that leaves the standard rules of racing in the dust. Gone are the limits of power restrictions, limited classes and qualifying rounds. Players simply choose their vehicle from a massive range – including dirt bikes, ATVs, sand rails, rally cars, monster trucks and everything in between – then hit the track in a no-holds-barred sprint to the finish line.
