E3 2005: THQ Factsheets

THQ has a bumper lineup, and to show it off there is nothing better then some factsheets. THQ's future is looking bright with a good mixutre of titles for all ages.

Descriptions

The Outfit
Choose from three playable squad leader personalities – each with their own skills and abilities and lead two squads of battle-forged soldiers on missions ranging from reconnaissance and rescue to search and destroy. As you complete missions, you'll gain action points that can be used to upgrade your arsenal, acquire tanks and other vehicles, build machinegun nests and anti-tank emplacements or call for air or artillery strikes.

Company of Heroes
From the opening shots of the D-Day invasion of Normandy players will find themselves immersed in a rich single player campaign. Experience the cinematic intensity, courage, and bravery of the heroes that defined a generation, set against the backdrop of the most dynamic battlefield ever seen in a game.

Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers
As squad leader, coordinate the actions of multiple infantry squads, leading them through a variety of hostile environments. An intuitive control scheme allows you to control your squads in real-time as you outthink, outmaneuver and outgun enemies through over 12 levels of intense combat. Utilize authentic combat tactics as you battle enemies with an explosive arsenal of weapons, high-tech military equipment and new controllable mechanized units.

Warhammer 40K - Dawn of War : Winter Assault
The expansion pack to the award winning Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War will build upon the most exciting, visceral, front-line battlefield ever seen in an RTS game. Barnyard
Players will start off as the 'new cow on the block,' form alliances with fellow animals, taking on challenges and sporting competitions, protecting the farm from coyote invaders, and doing lots of goofing off on the side. Players will be able to explore a fully interactive, 3D world and prove that they have what it takes to be the biggest party animal of all.

Titan Quest
The Titans, gods before the gods, have escaped from their eternal prison to wreak havoc on the world. In this titanic struggle between old and new gods it is the heroes of humankind who will ultimately determine the fate of all existence. The player quests throughout the ancient world in a race to uncover the secrets needed to once again imprison these ancient gods. Journeying to fabled locations such as the Parthenon, the maze at Knossos, the Great Pyramids, and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the player will have to overcome terrifying monsters and mythical beasts.

Evil Dead Regeneration
Deep in the basement of an insane asylum, the mad Dr. Vingo combines technology with The Book of The Dead, AKA The Necronomicon to fulfill perverted experiments of his very own. Hell-bent on using science to harness the Necronomicon's powers, the malevolent doctor unleashes the book's all-powerful Evil on the world – creating a new breed of Deadites, monsters and experiments gone wrong, twisting reality into a hellish strudel and leaving mankind with that not-so-fresh apocalyptic feeling.

The most devious plan ever created in a Nicktoons world is unfolding. Professor Calamitous has pulled together Plankton, Vlad, and Crocker to form a group known as The Evil Syndicate. The wicked foursome have begun to wreak havoc throughout Retroville, Amity Park, Dimmsdale, and Bikini Bottom in an attempt to take over the world. Not to be outsmarted, Jimmy Neutron calls upon his own band of Nicktoons.

The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer
Mr Incredible and Frozone return to non-stop action in the new video game Disney presents a Pixar film, The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer. The game begins at the film's conclusion – Underminer's threatening emergence to wreak havoc on the residents of Metroville. Players battle the Underminer and his robot minions in the vast underground world built by this diabolical genius. It is up to Mr Incredible and Frozone to once again save the day.
