E3 2005: Majesco Game Factsheets

Majesco has released a few game factsheets. A majority of the games will be seen on the Nintendo DS and Sony's PSP. A few new next generation games and a couple for this generation.

Descriptions

Advent Rising ( Xbox, PC)
Advent Rising is the first in an epic trilogy of action/adventure games, presented in a stunning cinematic format to deliver an unprecedented variety of game play experiences. Built on the Unreal Warfare engine, it offers precise, refined play-dynamics with action-packed adventure and style, wrapped in a visually imaginative universe. Advent is akin to a fast-paced action movie where the player is swept up in a continuously evolving series of sequences and events.

Advent Shadow (PSP)
Written to run parallel to the storyline of the Advent Trilogy, Advent Shadow takes players on an all-new, high-intensity portable experience designed specifically for the PSP.

A Boy and his Blob (DS)
A Boy and his Blob is the continuation of the story which began years ago on the Nintendo Entertainment System. In this version for the Nintendo DS, your blob friend still loves jellybeans and now they will transform him into a huge array of different items like a ladder, blowtorch or even a bomb. The 3D rendered, side-scrolling action takes place across 5 different environments and two planets as you have to defeat hordes of thugs and evil blobs to save the world.

Aeon Flux (Xbox, PS2)
Aeon Flux is an action-packed game that features a palpitating blend of stealth, speed and acrobatic combat. Based on Peter Chung's popular MTV Liquid Television series, the game bridges the fever-dream essence of the futuristic series with the mass-market appeal of the upcoming feature film starring Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, slated for release in Fall 2005.

Age of Empires: The Age of Kings (DS)
Players command five different civilizations, build armies and take them on scores of campaigns. Boasting turn-based strategy game play, Age of Empires: The Age of Kings allows players to move from the Dark Ages through the Middle Ages with one goal in mind: domination of the known world.

ATV QUAD FURY 2 (DS)
ATV racing comes to the Nintendo DS! ATV Quad Fury 2 features Wi-Fi multiplayer, high-speed racing, and big air driving abilities. The DS touch screen also provides "on the fly" vehicle upgrading! Get ready to kick up some dirt and leave your opponents in the dust on over 40 different tracks with this Fall, 2005 driving title.

Black & White Creatures (PSP, DS)
Black & White Creatures is the premier Good vs. Evil strategy game for the new generation of handheld systems. In-game advisors will help you train and nurture your own god-like creature to be the ultimate good or the ultimate evil. With 10 different creatures to mold, and eight different islands to call home, you decide whether the villagers you watch over should love or fear your presence - the choice is yours!

Bust-a-Move DS (DS)
Bust-a-Move DS brings all of the bubble bursting, puzzle fun onto the Nintendo DS. This time Bub and Bob return to center stage as they fling bubbles from the bottom screen to the top in an attempt to match 3 bubbles causing them to pop. You have to be fast because with each second you waste deciding your next move, the rows of bubbles get lower and lower. With a multiplayer mode allowing 5 people to play via the Nintendo DS' wireless link, this Bust-a-Move will prove to be the ultimate battle party game.

Demonik (Xbox 360, PC)
Deep within the Underworld, Demoniks rage against their hell-like slavery and are summoned to do the bidding of the humans brave, or foolhardy, enough to summon them. As a Demonik, you will stalk through various environments and perform the tasks of vengeance your summoner bids you to do. Many will stand in the way of your vengeance, but no one ever said causing pain and destruction would be easy. Luckily, you're extremely proficient at causing suffering. For every successful summoning, you will grow in power until you can finally break free from the chains that bind you. Soon, Earth will do your bidding and you will rule them all.

DOUBLE GAME PAKS (GBA)
Some of Majesco's greatest Game Boy Advance hits are now available in a 2-for-1 cartridge featuring everything from off-road action to tournament poker - all in the palm of players' hands with Majesco's Double Game lineup.

Golden Nugget Casino DS (DS)

Guilty Gear Dust Strikers (DS)
The no holds barred, sci-fi fighting franchise is reborn on the Nintendo DS. Guilty Gear Dust Strikers features all 21 Guilty Gear characters from previous versions and now the battle takes place on multiple levels across both DS screens with up to 4 players at once. Players will have to navigate different types of floors and traps as they battle versus CPU characters or via Wi-Fi connections in "battle royal" rules where the last

Guilty Gear Judgment (PSP)
In Guilty Gear Judgment, players will be able to experience the fast paced, adrenaline fused, arcade fighting of Guilty Gear X2 # Reload as well as delve into a new Guilty Gear gameplay experience, 'Boost Mode' which is a 'beat-em-up', side-scrolling, action mode featuring 20 Guilty Gear characters. For the first time players will take their favorite Guilty Gear character and be able to battle, by themselves or with a friend via the PSP's wireless connectivity, through hordes of aggressors and dole out their own personal brand of judgment.

Infected (PSP)
Infected features an engrossing single-player campaign with lavishly gory details and unlocks the world of WiFi with blood-thirsting multiplayer modes. There is also an innovative multiplayer system called "chain infections" whereby players create unique avatars and pass them on to each other's PSPs like viruses. If infected by another player, the gamer will actually find his avatar running around fighting in his single-player game. Through multiplayer victories, players spread their avatars around the real world, player to player, in massive, viral chain letters of evil!

Psychonauts (Xbox, PS2, PC)
ny mind, any time. For years, the Psychonauts have deployed their psychically-armed operatives all over the world, but this time trouble is brewing right in their own backyard. Someone is abducting students from the Psychonaut boot camp-a deranged scientist who only wants their brains. One cadet-a mysterious and powerful new arrival named Raz-stands alone against the lunatic. Raz must develop and unleash an arsenal of paranormal powers, including telekinesis, firestarting, clairvoyance, and his most powerful weapon of all-the ability to launch himself telepathically into someone else's mind, and run around in the demented amusement park of their imagination.

TAXI DRIVER (Xbox, PS2)
Based on director Martin Scorsese's gritty and disturbing 1976 film-noir classic, Taxi Driver further develops the psychological madness within the obsessed, alienated anti-hero cab driver and war vet, Travis Bickle. Bickle, still longing for a real rain to wash the scum off the neon lit streets of New York City, is forced to take matters into his own hands to cleanse the city of filth, fraud and corruption.

Teen Titans (Xbox, PS2, GC)
Teen Titans incorporates a variety of exciting missions and addictive game play to deliver an experience that captures the non-stop action of the highly popular series from Warner Bros. Animation. The Darkness ( Xbox 360, PlayStation 3)
Fearless Mafia hitman Jackie Estacado is part of the Franchetti crime family helmed by vicious cousin Paulie. On the eve of his 21st birthday, Jackie is suddenly possessed by the terrifying and spectacular powers of the Darkness. Though his supernatural entity lets him wreak terrible havoc on his enemies, the Darkness also has a strong will of its own. Jackie must learn to control the Darkness that lurks within him while harnessing its power to overthrow Paulie and fulfill his destiny.
