Animal Crossing Revolution Confirmed - Wii, DS

General Manager Entertainment, Analysis & Development Division Takashi Tezuka and Manager/Producer Entertainment, Analysis & Development Division Katsuya Eguchi had this to say about the possibility of a Revolution title:

Q: Are you in early development of Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Revolution?

T. Tezuka: Yes.
K. Eguchi: We are trying to make it compatible with the DS version as well.

Eguchi is the producer of Animal Crossing DS, while Tezuka is the director of Super Mario Bros. 3. This is great news from the source, and unless there was a translation error, we can all look forward to hearing more on the title!
