Japanese Hardware Figures - DS, PSP

Dengeki Online has posted the results to its survey about Japanese handheld sales. According to their data, the DS has sold 2.4 million units - 1 million more than the PSP, at 1.4 million.

This isn't surprising considering the DS's earlier release date, and simply, the lack of PSP units in the region. Additionally, the Japanese have access to five DS colours, which always helps sales.
