Mario Kart Arcade Goes Western - Gamecube, Hardware

Namco and Nintendo have revealed that the cool new Mario Kart GP games for arcades will be making their way stateside, so therefore there's a chance that we'll get it down here too.

The game features about a dozen characters, including some Namco favourites like Pac-Man and Blinky. There's also nearly 60 items, 40 of which are new to the franchise. These include defensive items as well as attacking ones, and they can be fired both forwards and backwards.

Cross you fingers and hope it makes it to our shores - four player arcade Mario Kart was a hit in Japan, and is set to be a bigger one over here.
