Revolution Worldwide - Wii

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, in an interview with Nikkei Business, has announced that they are planning a global launch (as in, simultaneous) for their next-gen console, the Revolution. It's currently slated for release in 2006, though he commented that the release won't be earlier than the end of the fiscal year (aka March).

Demonstrating how important the Revolution is, the president commented that if the Revolution did not outsell the Gamecube (which sits at around 19 million units worldwide), it would be a "complete failure". Ouch.
