Mother's The Word - GBA

Hooray for Earthbound fans! Mother 3 is still in development for the GBA, says Shigesato Itoi (creator of the franchise). It's a "a season away from release," which suggests it will be on shelves sometime in the first half of next year.

A television commercial was played in Japan nearly two years back revealing it was in development, but we've heard literally nothing since. It remained high on Famitsu magazine's most wanted lists, but for two long years, we've heard nothing.

Itoi attributes the wait to a desire to be absolutely sure about the game's progress. He's also aiming to lay low until release, so those wanting more info will have to wait a whiel.
