SEGA has changed the name of its sequel to the moderately successful Project Rub from Where Do Babies Come From? to the slightly less suss The Rub Rabbits. Some new information has also been released.

The game is similar to the first, in that you play as a guy trying to get the attention of the woman of your dreams. Unfortunately, now there are other blokes trying for the opportunity, and another woman is coming on to you!

It retains its wacky minigame formula, with tasks that include running up and down an escalator, blow gunning parachuting rivals, piano serenading and more. New this time around is the Baby Making Mode: where two players hold the DS system and find out how compatible they are.

In this mode, both players enter personal info (age, birthday, blood type, relationship status), and then work together to slice a cake. Your accuracy with slicing impacts on the baby that arrives when you're done. Your newborn can be named (with a handwritten signature), and can be sent off to frolic with other babies in a park (like Nintendogs's Bark Mode).

It's set for an early 2006 release.
