Microsoft announces Xbox 360 Australian release details - Xbox 360, Xbox

Microsoft has finally announced details of the Australian release of the Xbox 360.
The 'basic' value pack will be priced at $499AUD, which will consist of just the unit itself, and wired controller.
For those that can afford a little more, the full featured package will be priced at $649AUD and will include the console, wireless controller, portable 20gb hard drive, remote control and high definition AV cables.
The most important detail is that the console will be available in Australian stores on Thursday March 2nd, 2006. According to Microsoft, there will be a library of approximately 30 Xbox 360 games ready to accompany the launch.
