UK-based NGC Magazine is reporting that the latest game in the Zelda series, and the final highlight of the Gamecube's life, will feature support for the motion-sensitive Revolution controller as well as the traditional Gamecube pad.

This would be a bonus for those who play it on Nintendo's next home system, and if true, would no doubt contribute to Revolution sales. This is a clever move by Nintendo, as delaying the title also means that there is a great title available for Revolution at launch. Specifically, the magazine said:

"NGC can exclusively reveal that Twilight Princess will be playable on the forthcoming Revolution using the upcoming console's unique controller. Zelda will actually 'bring in' the Revolution by launching fairly close to the new system, which is set to be released around November of next year, according to our sources."

There's no official word on the rumour, nor an indication whether "using" the Revolution's controller means motion-sensitive support, or just button-mapping. Twilight Princess won't be out until after the end of Nintendo's fiscal year, which finishes on the 31st of March, 2006.
