RUMOUR: Revolution Goes Gold??? - Wii

A poster yesterday in the IGN forums revealed that Japanese publication Dengeki has stated, unofficially, that Nintendo's next-gen system - codenamed Revolution - has gone gold, of all things. The magazine also claimed that it will launch in April-May.

The magazine is considered to be a generally reliable source, but since we at Gamebiz can't confirm the Dengeki article, the news must be taken with a grain of salt. As usual. While it's alluring to imagine such a prompt launch for the system, we still know that Nintendo has promised to reveal all at E3 2006; a release then would thus be immediately following E3, which seems odd.

Nevertheless, stay tuned to Gamebiz for any further developments (and our reports from E3 06!).
